Drifting in Australia is really starting to find its ground in the motorsporting arena. Only yesterday there happened to be a TV feature on drifting in Australia showing that Ford FPV has put their foot in the ring by competing with their own entry using Fords F6 Typhoon turbo charged 6 pumping more than 400kw. Our trek to Oran Park raceway on a Saturday afternoon caught up with the regular crew from Initial Drift strutting their stuff on the track and boy, can the guys and girls drive. With lots of spins, corner to corner drifting and burnout action after a spin, it is enough to inspire any rev head to get your daily driver out on the track and give it a go.
